این بازیگر پیشکسوت درباره وضعیت بیماری‌اش اظهار کرد: ابتدا پزشکان مرا آنژیو کردند که خدا رو شکر موفقیت‌آمیز بوده اما در حال حاضر یک ضایعه مغزی دارم که توسط ۸ پزشک در حال بررسی است.
بازیگر سریال گیل‌دخت در ادامه عنوان کرد: فعلا در بیمارستان هستم تا نتیجه بررسی و تحقیقات پزشکان اعلام شود و روز چهارشنبه یا پنجشنبه جراحی خواهم شد و ان‌شالله به دعای مردم زودتر از بستری بیماری خارج می‌شوم.
وی عنوان کرد: در این مدت خیلی‌ها مرا حمایت کردند از جمله سازمان صداو سیما، خانه سینما و موسسه هنرمندان که همگی پیگیر وضعیت من بودند.
بازیگر سریال مختارنامه در پایان با اشاره به اتمام سریال «دمکنی» گفت: این سریال تمام شد اما با سختی و بی‌پولی بسیار و در حال حاضر که کارم در این سریال به پایان رسیده و در بستر بیماری هستم، هنوز هیچ پولی بابت این سریال دریافت نکرده‌ام.
