محمد مهدی اسماعیلی وزیر فرهنگ و ارشاد اسلامی در حاشیه هیئت دولت در جمع خبرنگاران درباره ممنوع الکاری پنج خواننده پاپ کشورمان گفت: دراین رابطه باید شبکه رسانه‌ای ما بررسی شود و اینکه چطور امکان دارد وقتی تصمیمی گرفته نشده، یک مرتبه رسانه‌ای شود، اینها همه یک سری مقررات خاص در داخل وزارت فرهنگ دارد، ابتدا به افراد اعلام میشود و اصلا هم چیزی مخفی نیست، اگر کسی مشکلی داشته باشد، برایش اجرای کنسرت نخواهد داشت.
وی در ادامه افزود: من از همه می‌خواهم به اینگونه شایعه سازی‌های رسانه‌ای پایان دهند و اجازه ندهند که افراد با انگیزه‌های مختلف دست به التهاب در فضای کشور بزنند. حوزه فرهنگ، هنر و رسانه قواعد خاص خود را دارد و متولی‌اش وزارت فرهنگ است، بنابراین مثل هر صنفی اگر کسی تخلفی کرده باشد، به آن رسیدگی میشود و پس از آن با جمع بندی به صورت عملی تأثیر کارش مشخص میشود.
اسماعیلی با بیان اینکه همه این حرف‌ها یک شایعه سازی بیش نیست و از اساس این دست خبرسازی‌ها را رد می‌کنیم، گفت:حتما هنرمندان و فرهنگ دوستان کشورمان مواردی از این دست را از طریق اعلام رسمی وزارتخانه و نهادهای متولی دنبال کنند. آقای اللهیاری رییس دفتر موسیقی و معاون هنری هر موردی که لازم باشد را اطلاع رسانی می‌کنند.
وی در ادامه اظهار داشت: خیلی از خوانندگان ما خودشان این شایعات را رد کردند، همین نشان می‌دهد حال که فعالیت‌ها عادی شده و با رعایت جوانب همه چیز بر روال عادی خود است، یک عده ناراحتند از این فضای هنری نشاط آورد. الحمدلله هم حوزه سینما و هم تئاتر، موسیقی و نمایشگاه کتاب همه نشان داد که شرایط چطور است و یک عده نانشان در ایجاد التهاب در کشور تأمین میشود، من از اهالی فرهنگ و هنری خواهش می‌کنم که همه مسائل را از طریق وزارتخانه فرهنگ دنبال کنند.
