مدیر واحد هنرهای تجسمی حوزه هنری استان اصفهان از برگزاری نمایشگاه بین‌المللی کارتون و کاریکاتور در عمارت سعدی اصفهان خبر داد.
مجتبی مجلسی گفت: فراخوان نمایشگاه بین‌المللی کارتون و کاریکاتور جام جهانی توسط مسعود شجاعی طباطبایی به‌عنوان یکی از چهره‌های بین‌المللی در زمینه کارتون شکل گرفت و درنتیجه‌ی آن آثاری از کارتونیست‌های مختلف جهان به‌خصوص هنرمندانی از امریکای لاتین، آسیا و اروپا و با موضوع عام جام جهانی ارائه شدند که بخشی از این آثار در حوزه هنری تهران نمایش داده‌شده است و تعداد ۶۳ اثر نیز برای نمایش در اصفهان انتخاب شدند.
او با بیان اینکه آثار ارائه‌شده در این نمایشگاه بر اساس نگاه متفاوت کارتونیست‌ها به جام جهانی خلق‌شده‌اند، افزود: هر کاریکاتوریست از هر نقطه جهان با یک زاویه دید به جام جهانی و حاشیه‌های آن نگاه کرده است و در این آثار با در نظر گرفتن این موضوع که همیشه جام جهانی به‌عنوان رقابتی مهم و اثرگذار مطرح می‌شوند و مردم بر جام جهانی و فوتبال و زمین مستطیل سبز و توپِ گرد متمرکز شده‌اند، دیدگاه‌های مختلف سیاسی، فرهنگی، اجتماعی و دغدغه‌های مختلف مردم در کارتون‌ها و کاریکاتورها اما با نگاه طنز منعکس‌شده است؛ ضمن اینکه تعدادی از آثار نیز مربوط به پرتره‌های بازیکنان مطرح جهان است که توسط کارتونیست‌ها ثبت‌شده‌اند.
