از آن زمان تاکنون، پیشرفت‌های بسیاری در دنیای ساعت رخ داده، اما به رغم تغییرات صورت گرفته، سیکو همچنان یکی از قدرت‌های برتر در صنعت ساعت سازی جهان محسوب می شود.
در سال 1956، سیکو نخستین ساعت خودکوک ساخت ژاپن را معرفی کرد. در سال 1964، سیکو نخستین کرونومتر کوارتز در جهان را معرفی کرد و به زمان سنج رسمی مسابقات المپیک تابستانی توکیو مبدل شد.
طی چند سال پس از آن نیز سیکو چندین عنوان نخستین دیگر را به خود اختصاص داد که از آن جمله می توان به تولید نخستین ساعت دیجیتال چند منظوره، تولید نخستین ساعت LCD کوارتز با نمایشگر دیجیتالی شش رقمی و تولید نخستین ساعت تلویزیونی در سال 1982 اشاره کرد. در سال 1985، اورینت و سیکو کارخانه‌ای را طی یک سرمایه گذاری مشترک راه اندازی کردند.
در سال 1968، سیکو نخستین ساعت دیواری کوارتز جهان را معرفی کرد. یک سال بعد، نخستین ساعت مچی کوارتز نیز از سوی این شرکت عرضه شد. سیکو آسترون (Astron ) در آن زمان قیمتی تقریبا یکسان با یک خودرو نو داشت.
از مجموعه‌های ارائه شده از سوی سیکو می توان به «ترسیا»، «لا گراند اسپورت» و «الیت» که شامل «Sportura»،«Arctura»و«Coutura» می شوند، اشاره کرد. خط تولید ساعت‌های این شرکت نیز شامل «کینتیک پرپچوال»، «کینتیک کرونوگراف»، «کینتیک اتو ریلی»، «کینتیک»، «آنالوگ دیجیتال»، «کرونوگراف»، «فلایت کامپیوتر» و «پرپچوال کلندر» می شود. ساعت‌های مکانیکی سیکو از سیکو «سری 5» تا «بل-ماتیک» و «گراند سیکو» به شدت مورد توجه مجموعه‌داران قرار دارند.
